“Hello, Mr Hughes? This is Peter from the Virgin Credit Card Online Fraud Department. I’m calling about a recent attempted transaction on your credit card…”

Thats the call I got about 20 minutes ago.
A few minutes prior to the call, I had tried registering a domain, but mucked up the expiry date, resulting in a “transaction error”. My wallet was in my other room (I have my CC details memorised), but before I could actually grab my wallet and double check the details, my phone was already ringing.

Good to know someone’s keeping an eye on things.

oh, it’s soooo scary though. If Virgin can do that so easily what can ASIO/CIA/etc type establishments do. Hey, is my paranoia showing??

  4. will says:

Yeah, it’s really scary that your own Credit Card company knows what’s going on with their cards :P

  5. Brad says:

NO (that’s not what I meant)…what is scary is that Dubya (aka Bush) probably knew before you did. :-)

  6. will says:

Yes, Ofcourse… They are watching you.
