Yes, it’s been two weeks since I started back at work… time seems to have flown.
It’s taken a while to get back into the swing of things, and for things to stop feeling “weird”.
I’ve noticed I do things a little differently now too… not big things, just little things like how I cross the road (rarely waiting for the “Walk” sign), and a different stride when walking around town.
Work is busy, very busy. Lots of new projects and related work coming in. Some of it interesting, other bits not so. But you have to take the good with the bad.
I’ve been moved down to the ground floor, and my desk now looks out onto the pavement. This is both good and bad. On one hand - there’s an abundance of very attractive young women walking past… on the other: there’s an abundance of very attractive young women walking past. *ahem*
I spent some of today (Sunday) sorting out some of the better photos from my trip.
I’ve managed to sort out my photos from London, Kew Gardens, Stonehenge, Devises & Avebury, Portsmith & Isle of Wight, Paris, Jungfraujoch, and Interlaken.
I’m now trying to get them all uploaded and put into the gallery. Neither steps are terribly complex - just time consuming.
Sure, the uploading can be left to sit while I go do other things… but I need to check it every now and then to ensure it hasn’t timed out. Someone recommend me a better Win32 SCP Client than WinSCP — something that’ll support queueing and automatic reconnections.. oh and an anti-idle operation too.
I also need to reorganise some of the galleries a little… so doing that a little bit here and there.
Off to bed, g’night ![]()
