Mission Successful (Followup on the Cash Passport rant)

I now have a Cash Passport, and the application to upgrade my cashcard to a Visa Debit card is on it’s way.

Yay for me.

    Hey have you used your Cash Passport yet? I was thinking of getting one for my trip to vietnam, but not sure if it’s easier if I just use my normal cc. what do you recommend?

    Hi Leanne,

    I sent you an email with a more detailed response, but the answer is “Yes, I have used it, but there are a number of caveats.”.

    I wouldn’t recommend using a credit card for cash withdrawal (which is all that the cash-passport can be used for) - and it’s probably a good idea to have a few different payment methods, and not keep all of them on you at once.
